New Milford provides many services to help keep our environment healthy.
Every September we hold a Household Hazardous Waste Day.
We accept cell phones in our office everyday we are open from 8am - 5pm. The phones we receive are distrubted between two organizations. Cell phones for soldiers, every cell phone turned in, earns a calling card for a soldier. The other program is to provide 911 service to seniors and the homeless. You can either designate where you want your phone to go or let us decide.
We are now accepting all rechargable batteries in our office everyday we are open.
The New Milford Recycle Center is now accepting FOR FREE all electronic equipment, TV's, Computers etc. You can contact the Public Works Department for a complete list of all materials they accept.
